  1. Pesticide Applicator - Agriculture

    • Study pesticide use for controlling agriculture pests such as weeds, insects, and diseases as it is related to agriculture production. Course content includes on-farm seed treatment, bird and rodent control, and weed control in farm dugouts and shelterbelts.
  2. Pesticide Applicator - Agriculture or Industrial

    • Your studies will focus on herbicide use for controlling weeds in industrial areas such as roadsides, power lines, right of way, well sites, parking lots, roadbeds, and equipment yards. The course content includes controlling designated noxious weeds on all lands and user herbicides for sewer root control will be covered.

  3. Pesticide Applicator - Industrial or Landscape

    • You will learn how to use herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides on outdoor residential, commercial, and public lands (such as yard care service, park or golf course maintenance).

  2. Animal Bioscience
    • ​​​​​​​This program provides students with a broad background in domestic animal biology.   3. Food and Nutrition

    • This program meets the growing industry need for graduates with interdisciplinary training in both food science and nutrition.     • This program takes just two semesters to learn the basics of safety, electrical, hydraulics and power train systems, and repair fundamentals on a range of farm equipment. 
  2. Agriculture and Food Production (Diploma)

    • Over four years, you will mix on-the-job training with one-on-one instruction from qualified tradespeople. You will work with your hands to diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic problems. 
  3. BioScience Technology (Diploma)

    • This program combines the fundamentals of plant and soil science, the reality of growing-condition variation, and the application of modern precision agriculture techniques. You will also spend time in the lab and in the field developing your understanding of plant physiology, soil fertility, crop production, and integrated pest management.

    • In this two-year diploma program, you will network with some of the most progressive producers in the region and learn about agriculture issues and solutions. In the second year, you will learn agriculture management policy, marketing, and how international events affect agriculture and the economy.
  5. Civil Engineering Technologies - Civil Construction option or Water Resources option (Diploma)

    • Network with some of the most progressive producers in the region and learn about agriculture issues and solutions.Second year will deepen your understanding of soils, soil management, botany, and field and specialty crops,as well as introductory to irrigation, precision agriculture and greenhouse management.
  6. Environmental Engineering Technology (Diploma)

    • ​​​​​​​The Environmental Engineering Technology program is a 32-month diploma offered full time at Saskatchewan Polytechnic Moose Jaw campus. You will take five academic semesters and participate in three Co-operative Education work terms (two consecutive terms after first year, and one term in the summer of second year).​​​​​​​

  7. Geographic Information Science (Certificate)

    • ​​​​​​​This intensive, hands-on certificate program trains students to use GIS technology to collect, analyze, and map spatial data.     • This two-year diploma program prepares students for careers in conservation and environmental law enforcement. Through hands-on training, students learn about environmental legislation, wildlife and fisheries management, investigative techniques, and Indigenous resource rights.
  10. Veterinary Technology (Diploma)

    • This two-year, CVMA-accredited diploma prepares students for careers as veterinary technologists through a blend of classroom learning, hands-on labs, and clinical placements. Students gain skills in animal care, diagnostics, surgery support, and client communication, with training in both small and large animal medicine.
