wo inina 2025 was a one-day gathering hosted by NCIAF in Ottawa, bringing together community leaders and Indigenous agricultural innovators from across Canada to listen, learn, and act, the meaning of "wo inina" in the Dakota language, in support of advancing Indigenous food sovereignty.

Indigenous Field Tour - June 2025 - Flying Dust First Nation
The Indigenous Field Day at Flying Dust First Nation brought NCIAF together with the SAGE Project for a day of hands-on learning, from seed history and soil health to touring the community's bison herd and new bison processing facility, along with their chickens and bee colony.

The Indigenous Ag Summit (IAS) 2025 brought together Indigenous producers, entrepreneurs, and community leaders in Regina for two days of knowledge-sharing on food security and Indigenous-led agriculture, hosted alongside Canadian Western Agribition.

Tatanka Wichohan - May 2026 - Winnipeg, MB
Tatanka Wichohan, meaning Buffalo Teachings, was a two-day NCIAF gathering that brought together Elders, knowledge keepers, producers, and youth to share stories and practical knowledge on restoring buffalo to Indigenous lands as an act of cultural, ecological, and community healing.
