Resources

The National Circle for Indigenous Agriculture and Food (NCIAF) is committed to supporting Indigenous Peoples, communities, and entrepreneurs on their path in agriculture and food. Our Resources section brings together our Web Hub, free toolkits, and program offerings into one easy-to-navigate space designed to empower learning, decision-making, and action.

Whether you're just getting started, expanding an enterprise, exploring funding, learning about food sovereignty, or seeking guidance for community-led initiatives, our Resources area helps you find the information and supports you need.

What You’ll Find:

Web Hub

A centralized and user-friendly space featuring curated links to programs, funding, learning opportunities, and sector networks across Canada. Each resource includes a short description and direct link to make searching easier and faster.

Free Toolkits & Resources

Practical tools, guides, and education materials that support Indigenous-led agriculture and food initiatives. These are freely available and built to support community learning, planning, and implementation.

National Indigenous Agriculture Programs (NIAP)

The NCIAF's program suite currently in development to provide hands-on learning, youth education, community agriculture supports, and pathways for Indigenous agriculture ventures to start, grow, and thrive. Programming will be available to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples, communities, and businesses across Canada.

Our NIAP Advisory Circle provides cultural, practical, and contextual guidance to ensure programs are meaningful, relevant, and accountable to the communities they serve.
